Wow Lots of Catching up to do!

Ahh...

So David has been away for a while, and I've been busy using my resources to remodel the house while he is away. It's been a rough road but we are getting there. Being pregnant, having a 16 month old attached to my hip, working 40+ hours a week, and remodeling a house - oh and somewhere in there I graduated with my BA in Business minor in Marketing. Ive been busy. I love being busy, but I have to tell myself to slow down because being pregnant is not easy and for me slowing down isn't easy either.

Im going to post a few pictures and also do another blog about being pregnant right after, so two posts for one night...

Progress - Drywall and Can Lights

Let the renovations begin.... The Powder Room

So when we originally looked at the house, we thought that there was a lot of cosmetic fixes. We were quickly proved wrong when we moved in and I went to use the powder room and my foot sunk in the floor right by the toilet.

So when we originally looked at the house, we thought that there was a lot of cosmetic fixes. We were quickly proved wrong when we moved in and I went to use the powder room and my foot sunk in the floor right by the toilet.

With my Dad, Uncle Dave and Uncle Christopher's help we tore apart the bathroom to find that the joists were rotted from water damage and that we would need to replace them along with just about everything that was in the bathroom. So we tore up the floor, fixed the joists, put new subfloor in, put new wainscoating up, bought a new sink, new toilet, new faucet, new light fixture, new door knob.... The bathroom is brand spanking NEW :) The only thing that we kept was the baseboard heat, which should be expected.

Oh and don't forget NEW PAINT :) Thanks to David and Mom Kaet

So its been a while........

Okay so its been more than a while. It has been about a 11 months since I last updated this blog, and I can say this much A LOT has happened. We moved into our home on September 10th, the house is actually my grandparents old house that my grandpa built when my mom was in High School. It is a great place to raise a family, large yard lots of living space and right across the street from my parents. I couldn't feel more blessed, and lately I feel like this is not something that man planned this is something that God planned for us.

My reason behind thinking this is that David left for six months on October 7th, its going to be a long journey without him here but I am so lucky to have my parents right across the street. Our family has been very helpful since moving. Im going to be posting renovations and things in my next few blogs, there is a lot of catching up to do.

New Pictures :) Daddy's Home

Falling asleep on David's chest, shes out like a light!

Leaving to Camp Ball - BLAH!

In this picture I love how she has a drool spot on David's t-shirt.... she is defiantly my girl!

She was fussy with her ear infection so I passed her off to Daddy.

Day 2 - Meaning behind your blog name

Life and all the great things about it!

I started my blog when I was about 3-4 months pregnant. I knew that we were going to have a lot of great experiences to come. It is simple and explains it all in the title :)
